Making good progress... The horizontal stabilizer and fin have been epoxied into place. Normally I like to do this after I get the wing installed, but I am confident it's in the right place. I rested a long level across the wing saddle simulating the wing to take my measurements from.

With the epoxy dry, I turned my attention to the tail support wires. Time to find out if all the bends in the support brackets are correct! I made the wires from 4-40 steel rod of which only one end is threaded. I measured and cut each rod to the correct length then cut my own threads using a 4-40 die on the opposite end. With the support rods adjusted, they give the tail the rock solid support that it desperately needed.

4-40 die used to make threads on one end of a 4-40 rod.

Rudder is plumb!

You know what's next..
