That carbon fiber landing gear is fantastic by comparison.
While the stock aluminum gear could look a lot better with some filling, grinding, and sanding, it would never come as close to scale looking as the carbon fiber.
Not to mention it would never weigh less and still hold the plane.

I'll be watching to see how you finish off the landing gear "cavity"
