Default Second hand basher options outside of the USA - Pro/raching chassis or Traxxas/Arrma?

Just posted this over on reddit but thought I'd try here as well - as per the title looking for basher options but, I live outside the USA and whilst Traxxas and Arrma are available new, they are incredibly expensive and not common second hand. On the other hand, 2WD 1/10 buggies are seemingly quite common second hand at good prices.

The goal is general bashing/driving with a very fast dog (half greyhound);
  • Beach/sand and medium grass
  • No jumping
  • Fast (30-35mph) on grass
  • Good handling at speed on grass and sand. Hard sand, not dry dunes.
This is what I can hold of for a similar ish price where I am;
  • Brand new 2WD Brushed Traxxas Slash/Bandit/Rustler etc
  • Brand new Arrma Granite 2WD Brushed
  • TLR 22 / Yokomo YZ2 / Associated etc used 2WD brushless buggy (usually setup for carpet).
  • Various TLR 22SCTs
  • TLR 22T 4.0
  • Various rollers
I've already got radio gear and chargers etc so an ARR is fine, and rollers are workable (although added expense). I'm inclined to make it work with 2WD mostly for budget reasons but also for less maintenance with sand etc.

Is a stadium truck the way to go? Can I make it work with a buggy and some different wheels? Or are all of those options not going to work?

Also interested in the durability of the hobby vs pro stuff - keeping in mind I don't plan on jumping.

Thanks in advance for any info!
