I run my rc10t in my back yard. Have to let off the power to get it to turn. At that point it wants to traction roll. My T Optima on the other hand goes where I point it. I put a set of sct tires the optima. Both have 3300 kv hobbtwing brushless motors in them. I tried a hotter motor in both and went back to the 3300. Those old cars don't handle that much power very well. My dog is too old and fat to chase them anymore. She won't even chase a squirrel any more.
