Default BJCraft Bipes Quick Release Struts

Upgrading BJCraft Bipes with quick release struts

The advantage is you no longer have to use screws
They can be ordered as a kit or completed from BJ
I had a kit of the standard BJ Leader G struts and decide to use them in conjunction with a FLIGHT HOBBY part used for the TOP STAGE BIP
So it’s a lot of work, but I think it worth it

The center part of the strut must be modified to integrate the quick release mechanism

The Hobby Flight part is screw in the wing with the two 2 mm screws coming with the parts, plus a 3 mm screw using the factory drilled hole as well as perfect location of the strut

You can rounded the parts in order to have the struts remaining on one wing, the upper one for example, held in place with a small velcro
