The batteries are probably being used up more because of the Gyro constantly making corrections thru out the whole flight. Not just because of your stick movements.. If it was me I’d upgrade to bigger batteries and use the others in the other planes..
All of my planes have Gyros. None of my other planes have surfaces that move as stiff as the ones on the F-18.
Just sharing what I use for reference. It’s not a problem it uses more, I typically don’t fly more than 4 flights anyway.
