The rc35 stuff is interesting, quite interesting as you can pick up tips for conversation to rc . Lots of 1/16 kits from Trumpter etc on the market now. Bought another Fusion X it has been updated a servo port is on the board, now 4 if using the light and servo sub board.
Also I am going to see how a Beier compared to the Fusion X . First impressions its more of a light and sound with basic (just need find out if I can manage to dig deep into the software for drive and turret ) tank control, not as intuitive as the Elmod for programming the tank functions.
Lots of stuff on ytube, problem is it's mostly light function and pairing lights and sound to sticks. This board is aimed at the 1/14 truck ,construction machine and boat hobbies. Most of the instruction info is light and sound. The printed manual is in German and it's over 100 pages, might need to print off the English version. Compared to the Elmod it's an empty system that needs loaded up from the software supplied. All the videos recommend reading through the manual to work out how to set the unit up.
As with Elmod it's not an all in one package, you will need to buy the cable ( supplied with the USB unit to plug into the board) lighting is off a 10 way ribbon cable ( soldering required) if not buying the cables terminated at each end for easy connections.
Other extras board switch and a volume control on board if not using a radio pot.
Works out quite expensive, but if you are into RC trucks/boats and prepared to spend lots of time setting up it's functions it's probably a good buy.
Now one issue is it's all truck lights and sounds on the videos, not found anything about setting up tank functions just videos of driving around.
Bottom line Elmod for easy setting up tank drive and function if not happy with loaded software.
Beier for adjustable lighting and extra sounds, if you use S bus Elmod has almost the same and it's user interface is better as it well thought out for the end user.
Might not use it in a tank if it's too much hassle setting up,I have a big supply boat /offshore tug that needs a better lighting system as it a a mess working off various electronic switches and power connectors.
