PT-109 Frank's Mosquito Boats 60"Full Kit $1300

....... PT-109 Frank's Mosquito Boats 60" Length full fiberglass kit " Very Rare ".......work started ... The PT 109 is a complete kit.......also included are over $1500 worth of upgrade parts........ Blue Jacket metal fittings...Model Boat Bits metal fitting and the complete dual prop running gear setup... ................. upgraded metal 50 caliper guns and a very detailed 40 mm metal gun kit.....all the Frank's Mosquito Boats option packages and 2 Full size plan sheets....

Running gear includes installed Dumas 3/16" Stainless Steel shaft...stuffing boxes + rudders.........[2] AmpFlow 12V 5600 rpm motors....Robo Claw Solo 60 amp speed controller.......12V_12AH Lead Acid Battery...Hitec 1/4 scale servo....
.....work was started on the superstructure using Garolite G10...all windows cutout....built up day room cabin and work started on the cockpit.......the 36 " Access hatch has been cutout and disgarded.... it's been replaced with a strong Garolite G10 Fiberglass access hatch....plenty of room to access the the running gear and hull area.......all necessary paint is included .....$300 invested in [4] quarts of Klass Kote epoxy Primer + IAF epoxy flat upper surface green +. dark red flat epoxy bottom paint...

This 1/16 scale Elco PT109 boat kit has been out of production for over 10 years....The fiberglass hull and deck are created with handlaid fiberglass for strength and lightness......the hull is 60" length and 16 " width at the widest section.... this equates to 3/4" = 1 Ft
.....I built this same size PT boat 30 years ago......it ran beautiful with twin Lincoln Contiental power window motors......[ see pictures of my finished PT525 ....this boat is not included with this sale ]
........The only negative note is some minor fiberglass repair that will be required on the deck + hull...... [ see pictures] ..............this kit requires advanced building skills,,,,!!!

....If the PT boat doesn't sell.....it will get stored until I have the time to take on the project.....but if it sells..? someone is going to get a good deal on very rare and complete Mosquito boat..........message me for further details ...................pickup only Inverness, FL. . ..............................
