For FPV footage, I mostly look for a converter that can handle the raw DVR files from my goggles without messing up the quality, since those files can sometimes be a bit corrupted or finicky. It's really annoying when you try to convert a flight video and the audio gets out of sync or the static gets worse, ngl. I usually prioritize software that lets me trim the dead air at the start and end of the flight before processing, just to save space. If you fly multiple packs in a session, you usually end up with a bunch of short clips that are a pain to watch individually. I found a tool that makes it easy to
combine mp4 files into one long video so I can review the whole session at once. It’s way better than clicking through twenty different files just to find that one crash or cool move, tbh.
