Here's my newest edition. (Small, yet still pretty cool) . From what I was told, it's a scratch build from RCM plans. Zirolli designed the plans for a smaller 48 inch and Norm McFarland blew them up to 54 inch. It was gifted to me by a flying buddy. Needs some work to make it air worthy, but not too much. Should be a fun little Pitts. It's extremely light.

If so,… you are correct! It was built from the RCM plan #528 which appeared in the May 1973 issue of R/C Modeler.
if memory serves me,… I sold that plane at the NCRC. (Northern Connecticut Radio Control) auction in Vernon CT.
I’d love the chance to buy that plane back if it’s still around.
