Default RE: Eagle 2 ARF & 4 Stroke Engine?

You suck elad. Definetely NOT tshirt weather here.

Tom, Bill, Don and any others...need some advice here about engines.

Ok, I'm sure you guys already know I have the worlds most finiky engine. So I'll try to keep this as short as possible (for me), and post the question afterwards.

-When I start my engine, I have my throttle all the way down and throttle trim all the way up. I usually have to back it off to about 3/4 after it starts as it will lunge a bit bit idles nicely at abotu 3/4 trim throttle and throttle stick at 0.
-When I attempt to gas her up using trim throttle, it runs VERY rough. Spitting and spitting. I have to go very slowly, even more so when it's cold and cold outside. One trim position at a time until I hit the high mark. At the high mark trim throttle, it is running about 2x the rpm that what it idles at normally
-Each trim position after 1/2 seems to really increase the rpm.
-I then have to slowly click my throttle up to about the 2nd notch, then I can reeve it up all the way. Right after that, I back completely off on the throttle...and have the trim throttle all the way up...and it runs with fast rpm. Like it is now warmed up.
-If I let it go at this stage I could taxi at 5 mph easily.
-What can I do to tune this thing better? Is it running way rich? If I lean it out it seems too lean on the high end. Is this the 'other' setting?

---I have three 'valves'. The big one on the side(needle) one that opens or closes a little hole in the front of the Carb. And one that limits the range the throttle opens and closes.

-Also, on landing. I can't seem to find that happy throttle that will allow a nice landing. Obviously wind changes things alot. But with little to no wind, I am just wondering. How can I adjust these settings to allow for a steady decline while allowing for a bit of lift.
I have tried no throttle and about 3/4 trim throttle. Drops too fast, nice and gentle but you have to really pull back to keep it level and like I said drops too fast. If I go up a bit on the trim, it wants to keep flying almost.

Gimme some suggestions here. I want to concentrate on feathering it in nice and soft. With those big wheels it bounces a bit. At worse I get a 1 foot bounce, and best at least 1 wheel will bounce up. My best landings are in the grass, they look sweet.

Good times today...took off and landed about 20 times Even took off on the grass today, which I've never done. Anyway, any tips for tuning would help guys. Thanks.
