I have started to build the Top Flite Red Box Antares that I have had in storage for over 34 years. I have decided to post a build thread for my work on this airplane. It's a traditional woody build but not that complicated for a builder that has done a few kits like these from back in the day. This is my second version as I had completed one back in 1986 that was flown a but and was Ho, Hum for my RC flying aptitude. I am building this airplane pretty much to plans and instructions with no major modifications. While there are some details about the control system that I am not fond of, I am still building to stock. This stage was to see how my stock of servos stacked up. Last time I built it I had to modify the fuselage depth one quarter of a inch deeper to have the old Futaba servos fit. This time to my surprise, servo dimensions were just going to fit without any changes.
