I concur with Joe....we flew our Apollos today.......just sublime 😊
I needed up trim and left rudder trim and only one click of aileron trim.
Power was spot on for all the climbs.
Did 7 flights, flight 6 and 7 felt really good, almost trimmed up.
I started with Sebart's suggestions and adjusted rates and expo to personal taste.
We balanced ours half way between the two suggested points and don't feel any need to change it.
Sebart got the c of g right and the rudder to aileron mixing right.....but.....another shambles......the instructions say mix a little up elevator to rudder....it needs down elevator to stop it going towards the cockpit.
In summary....its a great flying model, I'm thoroughly delighted now we've flown them.
So just choose your fit out to hit the balance point and then have the power to weight ratio required to fly pattern and its a beautiful flying experience.
Happy flying.
