My name is Rick, I'm 30 and live in MS about 15 minutes from Memphis, TN. I work at the Memphis Airport for one of the alphabet agencies. I flew for about a year with a Superstar 40 and a Big Stick 40 then took a five-year break when I moved to upstate NY in the Army. It was just too cold so I sold all my gear to a guy transferring to AZ. I got back into it about 6 months ago. I have an Avistar 40 and a Hobbistar 60 in the scrap pile (radio problems-JR fixed the radio but wouldn’t replace the planes) The Hobbistar is still flyable sorta. It became a tail dragger, the fuse is a little crooked from being broke, the Vstab looks like "Save Willys' dorsal fin and it has a spad main wing now. I have a Superstar 40 wearing and Irvine 61 still in great shape and I'm almost ready to cover a Stinger 60 as my next one.
