thanks for the encuraging words Rodney. the battery charger is fine, and both batteries charge just fine (both LEDs turn on when both batteries are plugged in.
i have quite a bit of trouble going to a LHS or Flying Club because i'm not a very social person to say the least. (that's why i came here in the first place....) but i suppose if there's nothing i can do without help short of ordering a new Tx/Rx and servos, then i'll have to bite the bullet and get out into the real world for a change.
