Default RE: vectorflight edge 540

GP: I drive a Chevy Lumina. My 66" Edge is loaded as follows - Wing halves in trunk wrapped in a quilt. Flight box and transmitter case also go in the trunk. The fuse goes in the back seat. If I am by myself I fold down the passenger seat and let the fuse span accross the seat into the back. If my daughter goes with me, I use a stand and it sits by itself in the backseat, but you must be careful.

Kroflite: I have not replaced the gear.....yet. I would strongly suggest using nylon bolts for the gear over replacing the gear itself at this point. The gear is a little soft and will need to be "adjusted" back after a couple of hard landings, but it is holding it's shape reasonably well so far. I was planning on replacing mine with a carbon fiber set at some point or having a friend make me a set of metal gear. Just have not done it yet.
