Default RE: Eagle 2 ARF & 4 Stroke Engine?

Elad:

I did manage to get 50 watts out the back of a Midland SSB rig, but that was right on the edge. When I put some modulation on it the final popped. Got it reliable about 40 watts input, a little over 100W PEP.

Most of the SSB rigs would sustain 12-15 watts carrier, the AM rigs seldom went much over 7 or 8. Also built and sold a lot of small linear amps, most with rx preamps also. Most powerful transistor amp I ever made was a KW rig, circuit from the Radio Amateur's Handbook, the transistors alone ran right at $1K to buy.

RCU, and lost posts.

When you've finished typing, highlight the whole thing with your mouse, and press (Control)C. Then, if the post is lost in one domain or another, reopen the reply box and press (Control)V. There it all is again, copied from the "Clipboard." Saves a lot of typing.
