Default 3D Profile or 3D Fun Fly? Kit or ARF?

I'm a bit light on airplanes at the moment and was thinking about getting a 3D airplane. I've got a SPA3D, and a 1/4 scale Sig Cap, but was thinking about getting something to replace my SPA3D to help me learn 3D before I do it on my CAP. I'll be off my feet for a week in a week when I get knee surgery, so I was thinking about getting a kit for something to do, but only if it will be cheaper to do than an ARF. I'm also a bit low on RC funds.

What's a VERY extreme 3D plane that's easy to hover, harrier, elevator, and will give me the best performance with my OS .50 SX and standard servos. I'm looking for a low cost plane with a mostly complete hardware package. I'm willing to do a kit, but not if it's going to cost me more than than a completed ARF. Something small would be nice too, lugging the cap around is OK, stuffing a one piece airplane is what I'm looking for right now.

Here are the planes I was thinking about:
MAGIC 3D
MAGIC EXTRA 3D
the only profiles I can think of at the moment are the thunder tiger profiles.
FUNTANA (a bit on the expensive side, and more IMACish, but I thought I'd throw it in)
