I put the CG at 5 1/2, mine does really good in all aspects of 3D that a 3D can do. Slows down nicely, hangs on a a prop etc etc. If you are new to flyig and this is your second plane or so, Then put the CG at 5 and get to know the plane and how it responds..then move it back and let-r-rip. But you'll still be able to rip it up fine at 5 inches...youll just get to the point where you'll want to move it further and further back.
