The Tiger 60 is a good plane, or the Venture 60. The Tiger will be marginally the easier flier for a low time pilot.

Engine? Forget the OS, the FS 91 Surpass II is $300, the Saito FA-91 is just $240. A lot more engine for $60 less. And the Saito is 4 ounces lighter to boot.

And while it wont be the world's best match, you could use it on the Tiger or the Venture. I'd be inclined to get a "40 size" Stick for it, or maybe a 60 size if I wanted to be a little more civilized.
