RE: Eagle 2 ARF & 4 Stroke Engine?
Tom:
Hmmp. Looks more like a Monocoupe than a Saito. Though I do see a couple familiar rocker boxes.
Familiar with the Four*40? The Venture is what the Four*60 was supposed to be. Bruce Tharpe designed the '40, the '60 was someone else trying to emulate his work. Didn't do as good a job as Bruce himself, with the Venture. So consider an enlarged and even more civilised Four*40, you have the Venture 60.
Comparing the Sportster series to the Venture is something on the order of comparing a Decathlon and an Extra. Both aerobatic, and both capable of flying the Aresti pattern and doing a good job of it. But it's a lot easier with the Extra. The Sportster is the Ford Thunderbird, no, let's not be that harsh. The Sportster is the Corvette CR-5, the Venture is the Ferrari F-40.
Any one of them is more than sufficient for making circles around the air patch, When you want to get fancy in the manner you make the circles around the air patch, the Venture is simply the better tool.
Or a well trimmed Ugly Stick.
