Default RE: K&B .61 TWIST ABC

I have one in a GP Giles 202. Flew it with a 13x6 APC, the changed to a 12x8 APC. !0% Omega. I never did tach it, but it does a decent job when I last flew it, which was last summer in 100+ heat. Easy to start, non-critical to adjust, great carb, great idle, seems pretty smooth. I bought a Tower 75 and will put that in the Giles when I get time, for a little more "oomph" in the vertical, and will save the K&B for a later model, to be selected later. Oh--I ran it with a Bisson Pitts style muffler. Good combination.

My conclusion....it is a happy and reliable engine, but not awesome.
