RE: Eagle 2 ARF & 4 Stroke Engine?
Bill, I had a little better luck with them than that. Had 'em for three or four years.
Fuel was cheap for me ( or should I say, my Dad). He had a friend in the chemical supply business that also flew control line. We got the components at cost and mixed our own. I used to fly all afternoon with a buddy, then after Dad got home from work, he and I would fly in the evening. A neighbor had a 40 acre field. He let me mow a 70 foot diameter circle in it to fly. Couldn't be a better setup for a young kid. Sadly, when I visited my mother a year ago, the area is now developed.
It was great to have such good parental support. They even took me around Eastern
Iowa and Western Illinois so I could compete.
Those were the days!!!
