i think they mean cut new slots next to the old slots dennis....you will be better off just leavin the old ones there..just trim them off [&:]......we all do these things...hmm....i remember deciding to install my rudder one eve for my last act and the next day i went out and it dawned on me that the elev. was one piece (not 2)...doh. i ended up cutting off the higes on rudder and reslotting.
