This is the best fuel method I have found. The "Kwik Fill" fueling valve by Dubro. Part#334. It just splices into the fuel supply line. When you insert the supplied fuel niple it automatically shuts off the flow to the carb. Pretty slick. They sell a mounting bracket to mount to the firewall (wood) but its just as simple to use a piece of aluminum angle. You can also mount it right on the fuse. Joe
Joe I've tried those and they work well at first, but soon the little o-ring inside the valve will go south and you'll have a leaky mess. That is the case with both the Dubro and the Great Planes quick fill valves. The concept is great because it allows for a really neat sleek look, but I've found that they all soon leak and cause a mess.
How long have you been using them?
