coomarlin, the black thing is a strip of velcro used to grab the plastic thingy the fuel lines are attached to. it was an initial idea of what I wanted to do but I may not stick with it. no pun intended


Rotcivv17, yes there is some angle there. This is my first plane and I'm sure I made other mistakes too. I was going for 4 degrees but ended up with more. Tried to take some out. Probably have 4 or 5 in it now. I tried to offset the mount and turn the cowl a little. It is not perfect but I'm not ashamed to fly it.
