Default RE: Does anyone have this plane??

Sorry to drag this "In front of prop" thing out. There is not a great danger in starting a larger gasser from in front of the prop. Gassers, small and large, are normally started at idle to one click over idle. Everybody with brains, tie the plane to something before starting it, the exception being if somebody is there to hold the plane. After starting a large gasser, there is no need to goose it or otherwise bring the rpm way up. If rpms are to be brought up, waiting to being behind the plane is just fine. If you have some kind of glitching going on, and your throttle servo has a mind of its own, obviously you'd work at this problem and not fly.
