RE: LT-25 and wood glue
Thanks TerrelFlyer. I'm not totally new to CA, it's just been a long time, and I forgot just how nasty it is. I'm continuing my build with a mixture of wood-glue and CA glue, basically using wood-glue everywhere I can, sometimes tacking down the parts with CA to hold it better while the wood glue dries. Anything with cyanide in it scares me enough to not breathe the fumes if I can avoid it! (hopefully owrking in a garage with the garage door open is sufficient ventilation)
I suspect that for most building tasks I'll get by ok with the wood-glue, but the wing construction on an LT-25 involved assembling lots of pieces before gluing them, and the structure wasn't rigid until you had them all in place so wood glue just didn't seem a viable option.
