Go to ebay.. They always have good stuff for cheap, search for HPI and over to the left specify what you want, I am also new, I just got a brand new car and everything I need for 150 bucks...
It's great stuff...
The car is an HPI rs4 RTR 3.. pretty nice car, came with controller and all the gear...
