Default wings and tape

My first kit was a top flite spitfire I was amazed by later kits how well the top flite instructions were written. I have since built a dazzler, an SE5, a stick for winter flying and an electric P-38. My project for this winter is a Lanier 1/4 scale Extra
I was hoping someone out there had some input on a suggestion from a club member. He used carpet tape to sheet his foam core wing instead of finishing resin. He said it was really easy didn't smell and stuck all the sheeting down without the annoying clicking you can get from the sheeting not attached securely. Anyone got any experience with carpet tape? Anyone? Anyone? [img][/img]P.S. that my 67 triumph spitfire in the background
