If you have built a PQHOR or a PBF, then you have all the parts you need for skis. You can make skis out of coroplast cut lengthwise with either metal wire or carbon shafts for strength. Use some alunminum U channel and some wheel collars, and youre in business. Tail skid would be smaller, with the same aluminum channel. The edges of the coroplast act like edges on a real ski, makes for very good ground handling. I dont have pics of the skis we used last year. Try doing a search for in-flight video footage from a seniorita on RCU. I think there are pics of the skis in that thread.

Oh yeah, You can use a Saito 150 on the UCD with a few mods, and it flies really reallly really well. It is a tad heavier than with a 91fx (been there, done that), but the two extra inches of prop diameter (17x6 on the 150 vs 15x6 on the 91) has to be seen to be believed. My plane has held up well (for a year now) with this setup.
