Basic setup, which do you do?
There seems to be 2 schools of thought out there that I have seen.
1. Set max throttle curve to 100% and set the pitch to what ever the engine will pull. Example 11 or 12 degrees.
2. Set the pitch to like 9 degrees and then set the max on the throttle curve so the headspeed remains constant. Maybe will be 85% max on the throttle curve.
I use the second method as it leaves a little extra throttle left to be mixed in with the cyclics.
