Default RE: flaperons on sig kadet senior?

Flaperons enable you to slow down the plane for a landing while still controlling direction somewhat with the ailerons. In the case of the Sig Kadet Senior, they may be fun to play with but are totally uneccesary for landing and taking off. This plane will fly at a brisk walking speed without them. I amazed my wife the other day by performing repeated harrier landings with mine landing into what amounted to a 5 mph wind. You may find them useful for thermalling the plane if you like trying to stretch a tank of gas. My record so far is 38 minutes of powered flight with a K&B .61 and I still had some fuel left!
