The DA 50-R is rear intake, the carb will stick through a hole in the firewall back into the fuselage. Check out the downloadable instruction manual and you can see that Tom simply set up some rails in the fuse for the throttle and choke servos. should be a simple setup for a rear intake engine, and for side mounted carbs, there is accomodation on the engine box for a servo form what I can make out in the pics.
