RE: flaperons on sig kadet senior?
Flapperons work very good for landing really slow, and an a large trainer such as that, they'll probibly work great. I've experimented with them on a few models, and if you invert them you get a really cool effect, i like to call spoilerons. They work the same, but when activated, the ailerons go up instead of down killing most of the lift and slowing the airplane. but even if you don't like using flaperons or spoilerons. you can always just not engage them.
