Re publishing exerpts from tech manuals about what the term means to a X29 pilot isn't relevant . That's what FLAPERON means to the X29 flight regime. That example has no application for me and the planes I fly. If I had a scale model of the X29 and had flaperons set up with no canard coupling, I'll bet it wouldn't be long before I wised up and programmed in some canard movement, and yes I would continue to tell the world that I was using FLAPERON CONTROL!
