Who said you can't teach an old dog ... was it new kicks, new bricks (?) ... something ... but I forget what. Anyway, I just called my friendly local Kinkos and they said they could print just about anything 36-inches wide by any length you want. PDF, TIFF, PDQ, whatever. Not cheap, but can be done.
Here's the cool part, if you log onto <
www.kinkos.com> you can email the file to your friendly neighborhood store, who prints it at their leisure, and then you can pick it up whenever.
Like I could email them tonight and pick it up at lunch tomorrow - without having to wait for the only guy who knows how to do it but who is on his lunch break for the next three hours. Also, the kinkos nearest me serves a big college in Ralaigh - I forget which one it is - but they are always jammed with childr - I mean young adults who don't realize that they should let old people go first.
Ain't techno-loggy wunnerfull? Ooh, ooh, I wonder if they have a laser cutter? Woo hoo.
