I have to disagree with the thought of
Adrian Page's kits being hard to build. I am currently building the GeeBeeZ kit and have bought the R2 kit to do next. His instructions are not bad at all. No, they don't take you by the hand like a great planes manual but they do have pics and seem very straight forward or at least they do to me. I have built kits before where the instruction manual was 2 pages of photocopied text, now that's rough.
As for the Z kit, the build is pretty straight forward, nothing really hard with the exception of the landing gear, where I am at now. The gear needs to be assembled on the wing and soldered together, but it's not really hard, just the most difficult part of the build, IMHO.
