hey Derrick!! Finally building it, eh?? I took out the 56 and put an OS 70 in it - wow!!!
I have a GeeBee Z that my Dad built and I finished, It was the older strip planked version. There were some fiddly spots, but hopefully Adrian has them worked out in his new kit. The landing gear was by far the most difficult - mainly because of the way the original full size was built.....and keeping it scale added to the workload. Adrian was going to make some sport struts for it. The R2 should be easier, as the strut is enclosed by a single fairing. The fibreglass cowl is a work of art...and worth the extra bucks IMHO...
