Default Any TF Giant Corsair Building Tips?

Please, please, please, can you tell where you got that prop, or how you fashioned it? I assume it's a display prop. I'm a rookie scaler (but definitely getting the bug!) and need to know where to begin...

How's she outfitted? I see that you have near no cheater hole, and have noted that mine with the souped-up US41 is running cool as a cucumber, as in I probably could've gotten away with a much smaller hole than I put. Everyone said "Outbound must be 3X inbound and you'll be fine, but I didn't realize how small those numbers could go in terms of cooling airflow area.

I love these big models. While I have no intention of dressing mine in a military scheme, I do want her to look like you could hop in and take her around the pattern! I'm looking forward to researching and recreating her many panels, vents, and cloth/dope details. I had dreamed once of putting a camera in her, and now I find in my Allied-Signal book that there was a variant, the F4U-5P photorecon Corsair! Better get with Stan for another cowl.

Cheers!
