I have the Aero book and it confirms all control surfaces are fabric. I also have the Dave Platt videos. Platt recommends not using fabric on control surfaces for the best scale finish and from the full scale aircraft I have seen I think he is correct. You have to get very close to the real plane to see that the surfaces have fabric texture and this detail is not going to show in a scaled down plane. Personally I am going to try his suggestions and see what happens. I one of the last Platt Zero kits made and that is next on my building list. I do recommend his videos - most important to me are the building set (3) and finishing set (3).
