1) Do you need to change the sped controller with the Potensky Eagle if you change the battery to Li-ion?

2) Does the speed controller step down the voltage for the receiver or do you need a new battery pack for the reciever?

BTW I am new to Electric flights. Tyrying to get away from the mess of Glow engines
