I remember the matchstick as an RCM&E Free plan from the 80's I built one at the time and remember it flew great. I also built a low wing version by just turning the fuz upside down and adding a small bubble canopy. You may be interested to know that on the other side of the plan was a rivetts racer that I loved but never got round to building.
