Rapid Resizer works with tiff and jpgs only, not pdfs. My
scans are tiffs, then converted to pdf as they are almost universally
viewable and printable by internet users nowadays.
I had a link and some hints for using RR on my site a while back,
but since all plan posts are now PDF, I took it off.

Update
OK, the MatchStick plan is now a single pdf file, but broken up
into 4 legal (8 1/2 x 14) pages for printing on any old inkjet.
Now, if anyone complains that they don't have LEGAL size pager,
well, I don't know....
Obviously, I figured out how to do it. Print to Distiller, then run the
file created by that operation through Distiller, which gives you a pdf.
Lots of other details, but not important here!
