Yes, I used the short hub. The long one is really too long. It's a shame you can't order the engine with one hub or the other. You may want to ask Great Planes if this can be arranged. The long hub isn't even installed when you get the engine.

Flying? Nothing out of the ordinary noted, but it will take 2 full turns more after you start spinning to get out.
