RE: denatured Alcohol
Denatured alcohol....
I had to hunt this stuff down (in Canada). People were most unhelpful/unknowledgable about it.
Eventually, after some research, and some luck, I found it. It is in Home Depot, and it is called "stove fuel". Find it alongside the paint thinners. 99.9% alcohol or so.
Rubbung alcohol seldom gets more than 80%, and the rest is water. If you want to thin epoxy, you really want the real stuff, and not the rubbinb stuff.
This is just a FYI fopr those people who are curious as to what denatured alcohol is, and where to get it.
Also FYI, it is denatured because there is an additive that makes it undrinkable (because it is really poisinous....)
Other names that denatured alcohol goes under is "methyl hydrate".
