CoosBayLumber is absolutely right. I am a self taught AutoCAD person and still learning. Made the same mistake of going to 3D before mastering 2D but reverted back to learning 2D after discovering that I was doing things incorrectly or inefficiently. My solution to use LTSCALE was incorrect/inappropriate as pointed out. Looks like I have a lot to learn!
