Actually no.
I would like to think that some of teh dwgs I have worked on were fairly complex:
electromechanical parts for switchmode power supplies; which are currently being used by the USMC and two models which are currently flaoting around the planet in the ISS. Parts of a garbage insinerator for ocean going ships, and again, for the US navy (through JJAM naval archetects). Nurmorous designs for various types of industry, including a very popular "U-Scan" self check-out system most of teh mid-west sees in their 'Kroger' grocery stores (loblaws as well).
I started with pen and paper, then moved to acad with ver 9, then onto Mech desktop version 1 through 6 and with Inventor. I had a chance with CADkey and with Inventor (ver 5, 5.3 and 6) and was glad to leave one comany before getting my feet wet with Pro E.
I have taken a quite few CAD courses; one each with the famed Bill Fane and Lynn Thomson of Adesk.
You missed my point. LTSCALE will affect the whole dwg. In most cases, I beleive that this is preffered, and not a problem. The original request was 'how to change teh lines to make them all look like wha tthey should be; dashed / hatched, etc.. Most linetypes taht come with Acad reflect the request for teh archetectural industry, so, a dashed line might be too large for a simple plan view. if not much is known about line types, this works. LT scale will chaneg the whole dwg linetypes to 'look good'
