I happened to be in Walmart the other day and bought one of these cutters after reading your post. I'm truly impressed!

You don't even have to push down on the covering, just lightly roll that thing over the surface of the paper, and it magically separates into two pieces. I cut up a buch of covering just because I was having so much fun!
