as Tommygun said they are out dated yadayadyada
But that is part of the fun some people enjoy tinkering with things
as any heli pilot
Also cost is a big factor...I know that you can buy electrics that will out preform SOME small glow engines (but for the most part not) but these electrics will cost MANY times more then some people are willing to spend for a glow counter part.
I myself have tried electrics several times over the years and found that still the "bang for buck" ratio is still out of wack.
